Scenario

You have been tasked with updating the Debit card security at U+ Bank article, modifying the content body to add instructions for potential fraud victims, adding a reference to a video article, and setting a future review date. Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

Your assignment consists of the following tasks:

Task 1: Clone an article

Locate the Debit card security at U+ Bank article clone it to create new content.

Task 2: Modify the cloned article

Update the article body to add instructions for potential fraud victims. Ensure that the new article undergoes review after three months.

Task 3: Add a reference to another article

Add a link to the video article inside the body of the cloned article.

 

You must initiate your own Pega instance to complete this Challenge.

Initialization may take up to 5 minutes so please be patient.

Detailed Tasks

1 Clone an article

  1. Log in as an Author:
    1. In the User name field, enter kmauthor.
    2. In the Password field, enter password123!.
  2. In the navigation pane of Pega Knowledge Portal, click Knowledge > Content.
  3. In the status filter column, change the status from Awaiting publication to Active statuses.
  4. Locate the published article Debit card security at U+Bank, and then click the article title to open it.
  5. In the header of the article, click Actions > Clone content, and then click Submit.
    Note: The new article is displayed with a status of New-Draft.

2 Modify the cloned article

  1. In the rich text editor, add the following text to th end of the article:

If you believe your card or account have been compromised, contact your nearest U+ Bank branch as soon as possible.

  1. In the Schedule settings section, select the Schedule review in checkbox.
  2. Ensure that the schedule for the new review is in 3 months.

3 Add a reference to another article

  1. In the Content section, at the end of the current article, click the Article references icon.
  2. In the list, select the category Credit card information.
    The articles in the selected category are displayed.
  3. Select the Video: Avoiding credit card fraud article.
    Note: The system inserts the article title as a link within the body of the article you are currently editing.
  1. Click Submit to submit the edited cloned article for publication.
