Model approval processing involving a reporting structure to model managerial approvals that are applied consistently to cases. Pega Platform provides the authority matrix option for approvals in which the approving party is not part of the user's reporting hierarchy, such as in a dotted-line reporting relationship or cross-functional team. The authority matrix supports business processes, such as sales contracts requiring a review by the legal department.
