Accessing robot registration settings

With the Pega Robot Manager portal, you can edit multiple settings that relate to robot registration, reporting, and configuration in the user interface. In the Robot registration settings, you can update a robot’s registration that corresponds to decision tables in Dev Studio.

The following figure shows where you can access the Robot registration settings in Robot Manager.

Using decision mappings in Pega Robot Manager

By default, Robot Manager inherits all decision tables are inherited from a built-on (parent) application, such as Pega Platform™. To customize settings on an application-specific level, create an application-specific instance of the settings that you want to modify, and then edit the instance. By using application-specific copies of settings, you can customize settings without affecting the built-on application. With the functionality provided in the portal, you can update a robot’s registration by performing by:

  • Creating application-specific copies of decision tables.
  • Changing the values in application-specific decision tables.
  • Reverting to inherited decision tables.
