View analysis data related to model violations.

Before you begin:

  • Run the View that you want to analyze.
  • Create or import the reference model that defines the way that work should be done.

  1. In the header of the application, click the Data Options icon and select View Models, as shown in the following figure:

    Result:

    The View Models dialog box lists any models you have created.
  2. In the row for the model that you want to use, in the Actions column, click the Select this model icon, as shown in the following figure:
    In the Actions column, the Select this model icon looks like a play button.

    Result:

    A message in the upper-right corner of the page indicates that the system applied the model.
  3. In the header of the application, click the Analyses icon, as shown in the following figure:

  4. In the navigation pane, in the Conformance section, click Model Violations.

    Result:

    The page lists the model violations, ordered by number of affected cases, as shown in the following figure:

  5. Click a model violation bar to expand more details and analysis options.

    For example:

    The following figure provides metrics on how this model violation affects Average Case Duration and Average Case Cost for Cases. The Model Deviation area shows the non-conforming activities in red stripes.
    The expanded model violation shows the unexpected activities in red stripes.

  6. Optional: To analyze this model violation further, click any of the additional analysis options on the right, such as Show in graph.
    For example, Show in graph opens the Process Map with this violation filter applied, as shown in the following figure:
