View analysis data related to undesired activities.

Before you begin:

Run the View that you want to analyze.

  1. In the header of the application, click the Analyses icon, as shown in the following figure:

  2. In the navigation pane, in the Conformance section, click Undesired Activities.

    Result:

    The appearance of the Undesired Activities page varies. For example, if you already marked any activities as undesired on the Process Map, then the Undesired Activities page lists the undesired activities in the right pane.
  3. In the Activities section, verify or update the activities that you want to mark as undesired.

    For example:

    Click to select undesired activities in the list. In the following figure, the activated x icon next to Failure, Paused, and Rejected indicates that these activities are marked as undesired.

  4. At the bottom of the list of activities, click Apply Filter.

    Result:

    The right pane lists the undesired activities in order by total affected Cases, as shown in the following figure:
    The right pane of the page lists the undesired activities by the total number of Cases affected in descending order. In this figure, the Rejected activity is listed first and affects 2397 Cases, which is 11.79% of all Cases total.

  5. Click an activity bar to view additional metrics and access other analysis tools, as shown in the following figure:

  6. Optional: Click the additional options for the undesired activity:

    Displays the Process Map and applies a filter based on the undesired activity that you were analyzing, such as the Rejected activity in the following figure:

    Show cases
    Displays comprehensive analysis of the cases associated with the undesired activity, as shown in the following figure:
    Show cases opens the Cases and Events page with the applied undesired activity filter.

    Look for probable causes
    Displays the analysis and the possible root causes of the undesired activity, as shown in the following figure:
    The page lists the possible root causes associated with the Rejected activity.

    Dismiss
    Removes the undesired activity from the list.
