Application designer

The Application Designer is a part of the project that shows all elements and properties of the application added to the project. You can explore the application structure, change its properties, and validate your matching strategy. The Application Designer opens once you click the application in Project Explorer. By default, the Application Designer displays the Application tab, which contains basic application settings.

Note: Properties displayed on the Application tab may differ depending on whether you're working on a desktop application, browser application, or text-based application, such as a mainframe.

Targets

The Targets tab of the Application Designer shows all the application objects that are displayed in the running application. It also indicates match rules that uniquely identify application interface elements so you can use them in project automations. For more information, see Match rules overview.
