Creating an email bot

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Channels to create a new channel interface.
  2. In the Create new channel interface page, click Email to create and open a new email bot instance.
  3. In the Details section, enter the Email channel name and a description.
  4. In the Email handling section, click Add email account.
  5. In the drop-down list, select the email account that you want to use.
  6. Select a reference operator in the additional settings section. Any work completed by your email bot is performed in the context of this operator.
  7. In the upper right of the tab, click Save to establish a listener to the selected email account.
  8. Under the email account list, click Verify to confirm that the email listener is successfully established.
