Pega Robot Studio environment basics

Pega Robot Studio provides a unique, intuitive, and rapid visual development environment to create robotic automation projects efficiently. The environment of Pega Robot Studio is similar to any integrated development environment (IDE) that provides comprehensive facilities for software development. Pega Robot Studio provides streamlined access to all the tools required for project design, debugging, and deployment packaging.

Interface elements

Pega Robot Studio consists of four main interface elements:

  • Menu toolbar
  • Standard toolbar
  • Tool windows
  • Designer windows

Dark theme

Beginning with version 22.1.8, you can optionally choose to use a dark theme in Robot Studio. In the Tools menu, you can select Themes > Dark to enable the dark theme. The interface instantly updates with the chosen theme. The figure below shows Robot Studio after enabling the dark theme.
