Scénario

Onboarding Cases have an initial Urgency of 10. However, certain contractors need an expedited onboarding process because they are hired to work on short-term projects or projects with a tight deadline, or because of unforeseen circumstances. To provide the option to prioritize certain onboarding Cases, add a Case-wide Action that references the UrgencyUpdate Flow Action to the Select Seating Location Assignment. 

The following table provides the credentials you need to complete the challenge.

1 Designate the pyUrgencyWorkAdjust property as a relevant record

  1. In the Pega instance for the challenge, enter the following credentials:
    1. In the User name field, enter SSA@TGB.
    2. In the Password field, enter pega123!
  2. In Dev Studio, search for pyUrgencyWorkAdjust property and open the property.
  3. From the property rule, click the Actions menu and select Mark as relevant record.

2 Create an optional Action to update Case urgency

  1. In the navigation pane of App Studio, click Case Types > Onboarding to open the Onboarding Case Type.
  2. In the upper right of the Workflow tab, click Optional Actions to display existing optional Actions.
  3. In the Case wide Actions section, click Action > Collect information to add a Collect information step.
  4. Rename the Collect Information step to Update Case Urgency.

  5. In the User action of the Update Case Urgency step, click Configure User Action to configure the view.
  6. In the fields, add Urgency adjustment field to the view.
  7. Save the Onboarding Case type.
