Your company has set a sales target of USD 1 million for Q1 2026. Sales management has decided to set a quota of USD100,000 for each of the sales representatives. For this exercise, update the sales goal for Terry Mason.
Use the following credentials to log in to the exercise system:

1 Create time period for Q1 2026
- Log in to your exercise system as the sales operations user.
- In the left navigation menu, click Time periods. A list of defined Time Periods is displayed.
- Click Create time period. The Add record dialog is displayed.
- Enter the following information to add fiscal year 2026.
- Name: FY 2026
- Start date: 1/1/2026
- End date: 12/31/2026
- Type: Fiscal year
- Select Active.
- Click Submit. FY 2026 is added to the Fiscal year list.
- Click Create time period. The Add record dialog is displayed.
- Enter the following information to add the first quarter to the fiscal year 2026.
- Name: Q1
- Start date: 1/1/2026
- End date: 3/31/2026
- Type: Quarter
- Fiscal Year: FY 2026
- Select Active.
- Click Submit. Q1 2026 is added to the Quarter list.
2 Add the sales goal for Terry Mason
- In the left navigation menu, click Sales goals. The Sales goals page is displayed.
- Search for Terry Mason. The sales goals for Terry Mason are displayed.
- At the top of the list, click Add sales goal.
- Enter the following information to add the sales goal for Q1 2026.
- Goal owner: Terry Mason
- Fiscal year: FY 2026
- Quarter: Q1
- Goal type: Revenue
- Goal value: 100000
- Click Submit. The application displays Q1 for FY 2026 in the list on the Sales Goals page.
