Verify the version tags to ensure you are consuming the intended content or, complete the latest version.

In Pega Platform™ applications, you can enable accessibility without reconfiguring the existing user interface (UI). For example, some users require an accessibility device, such as a screen reader, to interpret the UI that would display on a screen monitor and then communicate the information in a different form.

After completing this module, you should be able to:

Explain how accessibility improves the experience for users who need nontraditional interaction mediums
Describe the purpose of accessibility roles
Enable accessibility in an application by applying accessibility roles to UI elements
Use the Accessibility Inspector to identify accessibility issues

Practice what you learned in the following Challenge:

Enabling accessibility features in an application v4

Available in the following missions:

System Architect v4 User Experience Foundation v3
