Module

Enabling accessibility features in applications

In Pega Platform™ applications, you can enable out-of-the-box accessibility features without reconfiguring the existing user interface (UI). For example, some users require an accessibility device, such as a screen reader, to interpret the UI that would display on a screen monitor and then communicate the information in a different form.

After completing this module, you should be able to:

Explain how accessibility improves the experience for users who need nontraditional interaction mediums.
Enable accessibility in an application by applying key out-of-the-box Constellation elements.
Use accessibility testing tools to identify usability issues.
