
Adding an automation in the New Project Wizard
You can add an automation to your project in the New Project Wizard, using an existing project for a template, if desired.
- In the Add Project Items page, in the Automation row, click the button.
- In the folder list on the left side, select the parent folder for this automation.
- In the Automation name field, enter a unique and descriptive name for your automation.
- In the Available Templates drop-down list, select a template to use for this automation. Or, to create an empty automation, leave Available Templates set to default.
Note: Templates are created from existing automations and stored in the Templates folder at %appdata%\Pegasystems.
