Off Computer Codes (OCCs) allow associates to assign idle time away from the computer to reasons such as lunch or training. These codes help analysts gain better perspective on the full workday rather than only activities completed on the computer.

When associates return to their computers, the system prompts them to describe what they were doing by displaying a dialog box similar to the following figure:

Associates choose from a list of OCCs, such as break, lunch, or meeting, and then click OK in the dialog box.

NOTE: If an associate clicks Cancel without selecting an OCC, that time is logged as idle time.
Pega Task Mining provides a list of default OCCs that represent the most common codes. The following table lists the default OCCs and their associated work categories:
