The Enable Desktop Client Prompts option enables the associates to enter both off computer codes and expected work hours.
Expected Hours
The Expected Hours option prompts the associates to manually enter the hours they expect to work during their shift. This information is used on the various Pega Workforce Intelligence charts and reports.
You can also update an entire week by selecting “More” and then confirm each day as it occurs.
Off Computer Code Prompt
The Off Computer Code Prompt allows the Pega Workforce Intelligence Admin the ability to enter the number of seconds that must pass before the system prompts the associate to select a reason for the inactivity. The minimum is five seconds.
Off Computer Reason Codes
When an associate is away from the desktop, creating idle time on the computer, this code defines what the associate was doing during this period of idle time. When an associate returns to his or her machine, the system prompts the associate to describe what he or she was doing. Only one reason may be selected. Pega Workforce Intelligence comes with a set of default off computer reason codes, but the Workforce Intelligence Admin can edit and add other codes also.
