Mapping service requests and properties between the remote and the local applications

Discover how to map the remote Constellation service request to the local Theme UI-Kit service request and map properties between them for self-service initiated requests.

Note: The following demonstration uses the Return product service request properties as an example to illustrate the mapping procedure.

Transcript

Log in to the remote application as an administrator, and open Dev Studio. In the header of Dev Studio, search for and open the cyWrapperRemoteEndPointURL application setting.

For each environment, enter the URL of the local Theme UI-Kit application. Click Save.

Now, map the case type classes to the relevant decision table. In the header of Dev Studio, search for and open the cySetCaseTypesToUpdateWrapperCase decision table.

Set the if - Case type class to PegaCS-Work-Service-ProductReturn, which is the Constellation remote case type class. Set the Return value to PegaCA-Work-Service-ProductReturn, which is the Theme UI-Kit local case type class. Click Save.

Now, create a mapping of properties for the self-service-initiated service requests.

Search for and open the cyRequestToCreateWrapperCase data transform, which passes the required properties from the remote application to the local case type during instantiation.

Click the drop-down arrow next to the Update Page action. Update the data transform so that the local application properties for the Request.content page in the Target row corresponds to the remote application properties in the Source row. Click Save.

Next, repeat the same steps to update the cyRequestToUpdateWrapperCase data transform, which passes the required properties from the remote application to the local case type when updates to the case occur in the remote application.

Click Save.
