Help your audience to connect process improvement opportunities to real data by using timeline evidence in your presentations and reports. For example, enhance a presentation on transforming your business by including usage data for legacy applications.
- In Pega Task Mining, on the Timeline page, use the date filter to limit the timelines to a specific day or set of days.
- In the Associates section, search for and select the associates that have timeline data that you want to consider for export.
-
In the Associate's Timelines section, use the
records per page field and the
page buttons to display the specific timelines that
you want to include in the export.
NOTE: The export includes data from the current page only. If you need to export several pages of data, consider showing the maximum number of 20 records per page. If the timeline results still span multiple pages, click a page number in the lower-right corner to display the page that you want to export. For example, if the timeline data that you want to export is on page 3, then click 3 in the page options.
-
In the Associate's Timelines section, in the upper-right
corner, click Export, as shown in the following
figure:

In your Downloads folder, open the CSV file, which uses
the naming convention of timelines_export.
The exported file includes the following columns of data:
- network_id
- full_name
- team_name
- event start_time
- event end_time
- duration_ms
- app_alias
- app_value
- screen_alias
- machine_name

Example of exported data NOTE: The export does not include task-level detail. If you show tasks in the Associate's Timeline section, you can capture this information as an Insight. For more information, see Creating Insights from timelines. -
Export more pages of timeline data, as needed.
NOTE: Each time you export another page of timeline data, the exported file adds a number to the end of the timelines_export filename, for example timelines_export (1), timelines_export (2), and so on. This number ensures that you do not overwrite any prior exports. To better organize the results, consider renaming these files to describe the exported data.
